  • Day 4 – Explore the Sacred Valley with Ana Maria

Tour the spectacular mountaintop fortress of Ollantaytambo with Ana Maria and stop by a local chicheria in this authentic Inca-era town to learn about chicha, an Andean beverage distilled from corn. Take in the aroma of freshly-baked breads and sample the traditional Oropesa bread. Then continue to the remote mountain village of Cuyuni where you’ll have a chance to mingle and stroll with residents. They’ll take you into their homes and fields, teaching you about their traditions and a way of life that has changed little over the centuries.
