DAY 1 | A VIP Welcome to Arusha
On arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you’ll be met and assisted with immigration and customs and escorted to the Arusha Coffee Lodge.
DAY 2 | Onward to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, a scenic drive takes you into
the Ngorongoro Conservation Area where you’ll arrive in time for lunch at the Neptune Ngorongoro Luxury Lodge. After lunch, the afternoon is yours to relax and enjoy the breathtaking wilderness setting of our luxury lodge. meals b+l+d
DAY 3 | Down to the Crater Floor
There is no place anywhere on the planet quite like Ngorongoro Crater, and it offers a singular environment for wildlife viewing. Encircled by mountains, the open grasslands of the Crater are easier to patrol – and the result is a healthy population of endangered species including Black Rhino and Cheetah. After this morning’s game drive, your afternoon is free to enjoy the idyllic setting of our luxury lodge. meals b+l+d
DAY 4 | Into the Serengeti
This morning’s safari transfer flight promises
cinematic views and a chance to see vast herds roaming the plains below. On arrival
at Serengeti National Park, you’ll be met and escorted to one of our luxury safari camps. With remote settings in the Southern, Central and Northern Serengeti, they’re handpicked to keep you closer to the wildlife - whenever you travel! Arrive in time for lunch and
your first game drive in the Serengeti. This evening’s elegant dinner is accompanied by house wines and spirits. meals b+l+d
DAY 5 | On Safari in the Serengeti These wide open expanses are awe-inspiring
in their beauty, but the Serengeti is also renowned for its extraordinary concentration of plains game, including of course the Big Five. In the engaging company of our expert safari guides, your morning and afternoon game drives will be as heart-pounding as they are enlightening and informative. meals b+l+d
DAY 6 | Above the Serengeti Animals, too, have their routines and this
morning’s hot air balloon safari is an amazing time to gaze down as they greet another day. Touch down for a champagne breakfast and a morning gamMe dOrivZe. BAacMk atBcaImQp,UyouE’ll have time to relax and to share your impressions
of Africa with your fellow adventurers over lunch. A late afternoon safari promises more encounters with grazing herbivores, fierce predators and a wide variety of birds, including magnificent raptors. meals b+l+d
DAY 7 | Fly to Kigali, Rwanda
Embark on a morning game drive and return
to the Lodge for an early lunch. Then we’ll take you to the airstrip for another exciting safari transfer flight to Mwanza, on shores of Lake Victoria. Your connecting international flight to Rwanda is also included. Upon arrival in Kigali, you’ll be escorted to the deluxe Kigali Serena Hotel where the evening is free to dine and relax as you wish. meals b+l
DAY 8 | Kigali + The Virunga Mountains This morning’s tour of Kigali includes
the Genocide Memorial. Then journey
to Ruhengeri where you’ll check in to the Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge, set in the foothills of the Virungas close to the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. meals b+d
DAY 9 | Gorillas in the Wild
Early this morning, we’ll take you to Park Headquarters to register for today’s Gorilla Trek. After a briefing, enter the park to begin this unforgettable adventure. There are about ten gorilla families habituated to human contact and their movements will determine the duration of your trek. Start at an altitude of 6,500 feet, and trek along densely forested slopes to catch up with your assigned family. After locating them, you’ll have about one hour to watch quietly as they go about their daily routine. Retrace your steps down the volcano and return to the lodge. meals b+l+d
