DAY 6 | To Mana Pools National Park Take off into the blue African skies,
sweeping low over isolated game-rich terrain to a remote broad-flowing stretch of the Zambezi River. Here with mountain views of the rugged Rift Valley escarpment, the luxurious Ruckomechi Camp offers 10 spacious tents set under shady broad-canopied ana trees overlooking the river. You’ll arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

The Zambezi River widens to form the pristine World Heritage Site of Mana Pools. This year-round water supply plus the protein-rich pods of the plentiful ana tree make the area irresistible to all types of game and birds. The wildlife here is unmatched with large numbers of buffalo and elephant gathering at water’s edge.
