DAY 1 | Welcome to Entebbe On arrival at the airport, you’ll be
escorted to the Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort & Spa.
DAY 2 | Murchison Falls Journey to Murchison Falls National Park and check in to Baker’s Lodge on the banks of the mighty White Nile. An afternoon game drive is your chance to spot hippo, waterbuck, giraffe and the occasional big cat. meals b+l+d
DAY 3 | The source of the Nile Thrill to a morning game drive.
Later, a river expedition is the best way to experience the power and beauty of Murchison Falls. Here, the headwaters of the Nile erupt from a 26-foot wide gap in the rocks after churning through a 49-mile gorge filled with dizzying rapids. With our expert guide, this cruise offers another chance to spot hippo, crocodile and the many bird species that gather along river’s edge. meals b+l+d
DAY 4 | Fly to Kibale Forest Fly to Kasese and travel overland
to the exceptional Kyaninga Lodge. This afternoon, a guided nature walk along the rim of the crater lake promises breathtaking views. meals b+l+d

DAY 5 | Best place in the world to see chimpanzees
Set out this morning to track chimpanzees deep in the Kibale Forest National Park. Chimps are social and intelligent, and the Kibale Forest is the best place in the world to see them in their native habitat. After lunch, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Check in to the Mweya Safari Lodge and thrill to an evening game drive. meals b+l+d
DAY 6 | On safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
In addition to all the big game you would hope to see on a classic African safari, this national park is home to more than 600 bird species. A morning game drive promises up-close wildlife encounters and a chance to espy many of these exotic avian species. Later, a boat expedition on the Kazinga Channel explores this gently-flowing waterway – home to the world’s highest concentration of hippos. DAY 7 | Bwindi National Park We include your flight to southern Uganda where you’ll be escorted to the Clouds Mountain Gorilla Lodge, set on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The
afternoon and evening are yours to experience the remote and beautiful setting of our lodge - with views that stretch all the way to the Virunga Volcanoes in neighboring Rwanda. meals b+l+d
DAY 8 | Gorilla tracking in the Bwindi Forest
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park encompasses 80,000 acres of primeval forest draped over imposing mountain ridges. With nearly half the world’s critically-endangered mountain gorilla population, there are about 40 gorilla families in Bwindi – with close to a dozen that have been habituated for human contact. With an expert

tracker, you’ll hike deep into the Impenetrable Forest to catch up with your assigned gorilla family. After locating them, you’ll spend about one hour watching quietly as the gorillas go about their daily routine. As your time with them unfolds, you’ll be able to discern their unique personalities and begin to unravel their complex social relationships. Moved and even humbled by this experience, retrace your steps and return to our lodge. meals b+l+d
