Why Our Small Groups Are Limited to 16 or Fewer Guests Traveling with no more than 16 guests isn’t just a number, it’s a philosophy that makes every journey more rewarding, engaging, and seamless. • Attentive Service: With fewer travelers, our expert guides offer thoughtful attention that enhances the experience of every guest throughout the journey. • Richer Connections: A more intimate group size makes it easier to form meaningful bonds, both with fellow travelers and with your guide. Shared experiences feel more personal, and meals become warm, social occasions where stories flow and friendships form quickly. • Access to Unique Experiences: Our groups can go where large ones can’t, from boutique vineyards to village markets, and family-run restaurants. We can stay nimble and enjoy more immersive, off-the-beaten-path moments. • Smoother, More Enjoyable Touring: Our small groups move more efficiently. We spend less time waiting and more time discovering, making each day feel relaxed, well-paced, and deeply satisfying. More Rewarding and Thoughtful Travel

Our Private Journeys: Flexible Yet Structured Perfect for couples, families and friends, our Private Journeys blend the ease of a planned itinerary with the flexibility of a tailored experience. • Expert Local Guides: Travel with seasoned private guides who are natives of the region and bring its culture, history, and daily rhythms to life. • Premium Comfort: Some journeys feature high-speed rail in First Class with reserved seating and private transfers between hotels and stations. Others offer your own private driver and guide for seamless travel across destinations. • Built for Flexibility: Enjoy your choice of curated private tours to match your pace, interests, and priorities. • Tailor-Made Possibilities: Looking for something truly unique? We can customize a journey for you almost anywhere in the world. Japan

79 Years of Discovery For nearly eight decades, we’ve been opening doors to the world’s most captivating places, guiding travelers beyond the expected. Since our first journeys in 1947, we’ve witnessed history unfold, new nations emerging, traditions evolving, and landscapes changing, yet the essence of travel has remained the same: authentic encounters that connect people and place. Our long-standing relationships and deep local knowledge help us craft experiences that reveal the character of each destination, offering travelers not just a trip, but a richer understanding of the world. Journeys Give Back Our guides come from communities large and small throughout the world as do the hotel and restaurant managers and staff with whom we work. Although we have a beneficially light footprint with our small groups of 16 and private journeys, we make a large economic impact on the urban and remote communities where we travel and from which we source our supportive team. We do believe that engaging our guests in the world we all inhabit makes life better for all of us. Kanazawa Zimbabwe 7
