DAY 5 | Agrigento + Villa del Casale Explore the famed Valley of the Temples in
Agrigento , heralded for its finely preserved Greek temples and the beauty of the region. After a terrace lunch overlooking the Valley, continue to Piazza Armerina to visit the

DAY 6 | Modica + Ragusa
One is uniquely situated at the bottom of a

DAY 7 | From Baroque to Ancient Greece Discover the distinctive Baroque landmarks of Noto , built of honey-colored stone, and sample a duo of Sicilian deserts including granita, a frozen confection that used to be made of snow from Mt. Etna. Then explore Siracusa , a city that rivaled Athens as the most important center of the ancient world. DAY 8 | Mt. Etna + Taormina
Travel up the slopes of Mt. Etna to Rifugio
Sapienza, an alpine clubhouse set at 6,000 feet with views of the volcano’s summit

Midday finds you at the Barone di Villagrande Estate, where the noble Nicolosi family has been cultivating their vineyards for generations.Tourthewineryandenjoy a 4-course lunch with tastings of their finest vintages. Later a guided walking tour reveals the delights of Taormina, a favorite resort
