DAY 8 | Tracking the Bengal Tiger
Most travelers visit the reserve in a canter, a bus that seats 20 people. But our morning and afternoon safari drives are in open-air jeeps with an expert naturalist guide. Set out at dawn for a boat ride on the sacred
Ganges as thousands of devotees descend to the waters for purification, a daily ritual that has unfolded for centuries. Meet skilled weavers in the village of Sarai Mohana and then vist Manikarnika Ghat, one of the most sacred sites along the river.
