With lifelong skill, your safari guide will use his Ngashi, a long wooden pole, to steer and propel your Mokoro canoe through the narrow channels of the Okavango Delta. Drifting in near complete silence puts you at one with the environment, making it all the easier to spot the animals that come to the river to quench their thirst. Tsessebe, red lechwe, impala and zebra often graze at water’s edge. Our private concessions are also famed for their birding opportunities, with hundreds of resident species like Wattled Crane, Pel’s Fishing Owl and Rosy-Throated Longclaw. Seasonal fishing and thrilling night game drives will enhance your safari adventures.  Meals B+L+D

*Guests at the Classic level will stay at Qorokwe camp January - April and at Tubu Tree Camp May - December.

Take to the skies over the Okavango Delta with cinematic views over its forests, grasslands and waterways and arrive at our ultra-private reserve bordering Chobe National Park. With its woodland habitats and ancient floodplains, the remote landscapes of the Linyanti Reserve are home to an amazing density and variety of big game including vast herds of elephants, wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck and kudu. Upon touching down at the airstrip, you’ll be met and escorted to your choice of luxury safari camp: Savuti or Kings Pool.  Settle in to your luxury tented room and join our sharp-eyed guide for a heart-pounding safari expedition.  Meals B+L+D

The sheer volume of animals that roam across the greater Chobe eco-system and our private 300,000 acre reserve make this one of the best places in Africa to encounter a wide variety of herbivores and predators. That is exactly what you’ll do as you set out with our expert safari guides on game-viewing drives and expeditions on the Linyanti River. In between these exciting adventures, you can take a refreshing dip in the pool or relax on the verandah as you keep your eyes peeled for the wildlife drawn to the nearby watercourses. Congenial dining is enhanced by complimentary house wines, spirits and beverages.  Meals B+L+D

There’s so much so see and explore this vast private reserve.  The Linyanti expanse is a favored hunting ground for predators including lion, leopard, spotted hyena, cheetah and African wild dog.  With a bit of luck, you might spot one of the famous Big Five or Magnificent Seven!  Once again accompanied by our experienced safari guide, you’ll set out today on morning and afternoon game drives to track these animals across our private reserve.  Meals B, L, D

By tour’s end, we think you’ll agree that the local name best captures the dramatic spray and deafening roar of the mighty Zambezi River as it plunges more than 300 feet over a mile-wide chasm!
