On arrival at Livingstone airport, you will be met and escorted to Toka Leya Camp. Enjoy a sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River, home to crocodiles and hippos. Sip your cocktail and watch as animals descend to the riverbank to quench their own thirst. Meals L+D

Thrill of Victoria Falls

Toka Leya Camp - Livingstone, Zambia

Join our engaging guide to explore Victoria Falls’ c forest trails, hitting the best vantage points overlooking these cascades... Their names, like Danger Point and Knife Edge Bridge, might strike you as dramatic now, but by tour’s end, we think you’ll agree that they are quite fitting. After lunch, tailor your exploration with another included excursion: Go rhino tracking, fish the Zambezi River, thrill to a game drive, explore the town of Livingstone, or visit a nearby village. Journey overland into Botswana and continue by thrilling safari transfer flight to the ultra-private Linyanti Reserve, bordering Chobe National Park. Your destination is Savuti Camp, our luxury safari bush camp on the Savute Channel. Meals B+D

Bisecting the Linyanti Concession, the Savute Channel is an ancient watercourse that was dry for many years. The waters have returned and the channel is again an animal magnet, endowing our reserve with a high concentration of wildlife. Day and evening game drives offer a chance to see herds of elephants, zebra, wildebeest, impala, giraffe, lechwe, reedbuck and kudu. Meals B+L+D

Enjoy another day of game drives, guided bush walks and expeditions by boat on the Savute Channel. The sheer numbers of herbivores that roam across Chobe National Park and our private reserve are irresistible to the most ferocious predators, making this an exceptional place to encounter lions, wild dogs, cheetahs, and hyenas. On Safari by Jeep + Canoe

Kwetsani Camp - Abu Reserve, Botswana

Today’s activities take you out by open jeep and along tranquil waterways in a mokoro canoe. Floating silently along in this traditional water craft puts you at one with the pristine setting and offers an unforgettable way to encounter the abundant wildlife including giraffe, elephant, zebra, hippo, lion and leopard. Continue to Cape Town, South Africa

After breakfast, we’ll take you to the airport for your flight to Maun, connecting on to Cape Town.  You’ll be warmly greeted on arrival and escorted to our luxury hotel, a beloved landmark in the heart of the city. Take the rest of this day to relax and explore as you wish in this vibrant and cosmopolitan city.  Meals B

With its revolving cars, your cableway ascent this morning of Table Mountain promises enthralling 360° views across Cape Town and Table Bay. From the top, there are clear-day vistas of the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the 3,200-foot summit of Devil’s Peak. Back in the city, you’ll discover the colorful Cape Malay Quarter and enjoy a guided stroll through the Company Gardens – a fresh produce garden in the 17th century now home to iconic landmarks like St. George’s Cathedral. Then explore the bustling market stalls of Greenmarket Square and take in the Grand Parade where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation upon his release in 1990. At the District Six Museum, you’ll learn about this historic area and the forced relocation of its resident during the Apartheid Era. After sightseeing, the balance of your afternoon and evening is free to enjoy as you wish. Our in-the-know resident guide will be happy to offer suggestions and assistance for exploring and dining on your own.  Meals B+L

The Cape Peninsula + Constantia Winelands

An unforgettable morning unfolds as you leave the city behind to explore the wild beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Travel along the Atlantic seaboard through the pleasant coastal suburbs of Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. Next up, the journey along Chapman’s Peak 2,000 feet above the ocean is considered by many to be one of the most spectacular coastal drives in the world!
 
Continue into the Cape of Good Hope National Park, where the unique Fynbos vegetation provides prime habitat for zebra, bontebok, ostrich and inquisitive baboons. Reaching the iconic Cape Point Lighthouse, you’ll ascend by funicular to take in the captivating views of False Bay. Stop by Boulders Beach, home to a colony of African penguins, before sitting down to a delightful seaside lunch.
 
In the afternoon, your journey continues along the coast into the Constantia Winelands. With the first vines planted in 1685 at the direction of Simon van der Stel, first Governor of the Cape, this lovely pastoral region is the oldest viticulture region in the Southern Hemisphere. There are both centuries-old vineyard homesteads as well as new, stylish boutique wineries. Depending upon the preferences of our guests, our in-the-know guide will arrange a couple vineyard visits and wine tastings. Back in Cape Town, your final evening is at leisure to enjoy and dine as you wish.  Meals B+L
