Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to the enchanting Lake Victoria Serena Resort, set on beautifully landscaped grounds overlooking Africa’s largest lake.

Transfer to the airport for your included flight to Kihihi in southwestern Uganda. Upon arrival, you’ll be met by our expert guide for the overland journey to the evocative Volcanoes Bwindi Lodge, overlooking the magnificent Impenetrable Forest where gorillas, monkeys and chimpanzees roam free in one of Africa’s most biologically diverse areas. After settling in to your comfortable and spacious guestroom, you can explore the grounds of your lodge or visit a nearby village.  Meals B,L,D

After an early breakfast, meet up with your expert guide to begin your trek through the densely forested hills of Bwindi. Tracking gorillas in this remote and pristine environment takes stamina and patience, but when you finally come across a group of gorillas camouflaged in the lush vegetation, it’s a moment you’ll never forget! Depending upon the locations and movements of the forest gorillas, your trek could last nearly all day.  Meals B,L,D

After breakfast, travel back to the airstrip for your included flight to Kampala, where you’ll be met and escorted once again to the beautiful Lake Victoria Serena Resort.  Meals B
