The revolving cable car that takes you up Table Mountain promises thrilling views matched only by the vistas from the top. Back in the city, continue with your personal guide through the colorful Cape Malay Quarter to the Company Gardens for a walking tour; see the Houses of Parliament, National Gallery and St. George’s Cathedral. Stroll among the market stalls of Greenmarket Square and peruse the collection of Old Cape paintings in the Castle. Take in the Grand Parade where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation upon his release in 1990 and learn more about the Apartheid era at the District Six Museum. Your afternoon is free. Meals B
