Upon arrival at the train station in Jhansi, you’ll be warmly greeted by our knowledgeable guide. Visit the medieval town of Orchha and continue to Khajuraho where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of its famous 10th-century temples, many adorned with erotic carvings. Continue to Toria and check in to the comfortable Sarai Hotel. 

If you choose to fly into Khajuraho from Delhi or Varanasi (flight not included), you’ll be met at the airport by our guide to begin your tour of city’s celebrated temples. Then continue as above to the Sarai Hotel in Toria. Meals D

After breakfast, set out with your private car & driver and journey into the heart of Tiger Country! Upon arrival at Bandhavgarh National Park, check in to the jungle lodge of your choice: The enchanting Bandhav Vilas or the premier Taj Mahua Kothi. After settling in to your comfortable guestroom, the rest of your afternoon and the evening are at leisure to enjoy the exceptionally beautiful setting of your Lodge.  Meals B,L,D

A relative newcomer to India’s famed Project Tiger, Bandhavgarh National Park is celebrated for its revitalized population of Bengal tigers! Today you’ll set out with our expert tracker guides on extensive morning and afternoon game drives through the Park. There will be thrilling chances to observe the elusive tiger and its key prey here in one of India’s most magnificent jungles – also home to wild dogs, buffalo, the four-horned antelope, gazelles, wild boar and a variety of birds. In between these safari expeditions, you can relax back at your lodge or visit some of the ancient monuments found nearby, including a 35-foot statue of Lord Vishnu reclining on a bed of serpents. This evening, a lecture from the lodge’s expert naturalists will enrich your stay.  Meals B,L,D

After breakfast, our private car and driver will take you to the airport in Khajuraho for your onward flight.  Meals B
