Encompassing dense forests and rippling grassland, Chitwan National Park is one of the last refuges of the highly-endangered one-horned Indian rhino. In addition, there are healthy populations of deer, monkey, leopard and of course the elusive Royal Bengal tiger. In its pristine rivers and marshland, the Park is also home to diverse aquatic species including the fish-eating Gharial crocodile and the fierce Marsh Mugger crocodile; an indigenous species that can grow up to 16 feet or more in length!

Today you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon safari adventures by land and water – venturing into the deeper reaches of the National Park in a comfortable 4x4 jeep and also in a traditional wooden canoe. Accompanied by our expert safari guides - carefully selected for their deep knowledge, unmatched experience and sharp eyes - you’ll learn much about the unique eco-systems of Chitwan as you set out in search of the many land and marine species that inhabit the Park.
