Built in 1725, this is one of the world’s largest palace complexes and today it’s a veritable museum filled with superb examples of Mogul art and furnishings all displayed amidst lavish interiors. You’ll also visit Jagdish Temple, a 17th century architectural treasure dedicated to Lord Vishnu and heralded for its towering tiers of bas relief carvings. Your city tour also includes a rickshaw ride through the narrow streets of Udaipur, the best way to experience the timeless rhythms of the city, and a tranquil cruise on Lake Pichola.
