Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to the charming Sunshine Hotel.

Your exploration of the Park’s scenic wonders begins this morning in the Wulinyuan Scenic Area where you’ll ascend the Bailong Elevator, an glass-walled engineering marvel built into the side of a cliff! Enjoy the fantastic views from the summit and then continue to Tianzi Mountain, ascending its forested and often mist-enshrouded peaks by cable car. Then explore the underground waterways, caverns and hanging waterfalls of the spectacular Yellow Dragon Cave. After a dinner of local Hunan-style cuisine, continue to the Samantha Resort & Spa for a tranquil overnight.  Meals B,L,D

After breakfast, join your private guide for the scenic drive to Baofeng Lake, surrounded by lushly forested, stone peaks. At lunch today, you’ll have a chance to sample the region’s traditional “Hot Pot” style of cooking. In the afternoon, continue your exploration of Zhangjiajie National Park with a cable car ride up into the lofty peaks of Tianmen Mountain.
