  • Day 1 - Welcome to Miami + board the mv Victory I

    You’ll be met at the airport and escorted to the Port of Miami to board our ship. Enjoy a briefing and then dinner as we cruise across the Florida Straits. Meals D
  • Day 2 - Discover Old Havana

    Our shipboard experts will present a talk on the history and culture of Havana as we sail into the harbor to dock in the heart of the capital. You’ll step off late this morning to explore the cobbled streets of Old Havana with our Cuban guide and to mingle with residents in the city’s lively town squares. Our ship will be docked overnight in Havana, so you can step off to enjoy a music, dance or theater performance. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 3 - Enjoy a second day in the Cuban capital

    Our people-to-people activities continue as we meet residents from all walks of life - including artists, students and working professionals. We’ll sample the fine Cuban cuisine of a privately-owned paladar for lunch and visit Finca Vigia where Hemingway lived and wrote for nearly 20 years. Late tonight, our ship will set sail - charting a course around the western tip of the island. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 4 - Cruising around Cuba

    This relaxing day is enriched by talks with our shipboard experts, delving into a wide variety of topics from politics and the arts to the continually evolving relationship between our two nations. Fine dining, our Open Bar and the congenial camaraderie of your fellow travelers enhance your day at sea. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 5 - Guanahacabibes National Park

    Situated on the western tip of the Island, the spectacularly beautiful Bahía de Corrientes is home to remarkable flora and fauna, both offshore and on land. This morning, step off in Maria La Gorda to begin your exploration of the National Park, the largest of Cuba’s six nature reserves. With a local naturalist, you’ll learn about the region’s indigenous species including butterflies, birds, and orchids – some just recently discovered. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 6 - Along the southern coast

    Delight in another day of congenial conversation, fine meals and informative talks with our onboard Cuba experts. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 7 - Ashore in Cienfuegos

    Recognized for its architectural diversity, Cienfuegos boasts a fine Colonial district and a collection of 20th-century palaces set along the bay. Discover the history of this lovely town, known as the Pearl of the South, and get to know its lively cultural scene when you spend time with the talented members of a local choir. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 8 - Our First Day in Colonial Trinidad

    Like Cienfuegos, the handsome Colonial-era town of Trinidad is another UNESCO World Heritage Site. The main square is a veritable living museum, surrounded by historic buildings that reflect Neoclassical, Moorish and Spanish Baroque influences. Founded in the 16th century, Trinidad’s many architectural landmarks include the historic Palacio Brunet and the Palacio Cantero, built with wealth from the region’s lucrative sugar trade. With a full day to explore ashore, a great place to begin our guided sightseeing is the Museum of Architecture, where you’ll learn not just about the town’s history but also the background behind its UNESCO designation and ongoing preservation efforts. Our elegant ship will be docked here overnight, giving us another opportunity to dine ashore and experience not just island-cuisine but its vibrant street life. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 9 - Another Day in Trinidad

    With its picturesque setting against the Escambray Mountains that rise to the north of town, we’ll enjoy a second day of guided exploration in this beguiling city. In addition to its architectural wealth, Trinidad like so many Cuban cities boasts a lively cultural scene, which we’ll experience today with more people-to-people activities. The Ballet Folklórico de Trinidad is just one such group that we might spend time with today. Early this evening, the mv Victory I will set sail again on a southeasterly course toward Santiago de Cuba. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 10 - A day at sea

    Another day of conversation, camaraderie and learning unfolds with your fellow travelers and our shipboard experts. Congenial dining, free-flowing wine and beer and our Open Bar add to this pleasant day of cruising. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 11 - Ashore in Santiago de Cuba

    From the unique white dress you’ll see worn by Santeria initiates throughout the city to the region’s distinctive styles of music and dance, Santiago de Cuba has a very strong Afro-Cuban spirit. This morning, you’ll learn more about this unique heritage as we begin two full days of guided sightseeing and people-to-people cultural activities. One highlight of this first day is sure to be the Plaza Delores. Once a bustling marketplace, this pleasant and shady town square is home to popular restaurants and cafes – making it a great place to feel the lively rhythms of the city. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 12 - Santiago de Cuba + San Pedro de la Roca

    Our second day of sightseeing and people-to-people activities in this vibrant town will include an expertly guided tour of San Pedro de la Roca. Built by the Spanish in the 17th century, this massive stone fortress is spectacularly set on a rocky promontory overlooking Santiago de Cuba Bay. Now recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is one of the best examples of Colonial military architecture in the Americas and reflects Italian and Renaissance design principles. As our ship will be docked here in Santiago de Cuba until 10:00 pm, our onboard meals will be enhanced with specially arranged shoreside dining experiences to sample more of the island’s fine cuisine and family-owned paladares. Tonight we begin our return voyage to Miami. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 13 - Cruising back to the U.S.

    Enjoy a full day at sea as we cruise northward to Miami. Of course, our shipboard experts are on-hand to answer any questions that arose during our voyage and to engage in thoughtful discussions that will deepen your understanding and appreciation of Cuban life and culture. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 14 - A Final Day at Sea

    Take advantage of this final day of cruising to engage with your fellow passengers, sharing insights and experiences gleaned from our remarkable 2-week voyage around Cuba. Onboard talks and discussions also continue with our shipboard experts. As always, you can choose from our two distinctive dining venues, including al fresco meals at the Cliff Rock Bar + Grill. Free-flowing wine and beer and our ship’s Open Bar enhance the day. Meals B+L+D
  • Day 15 - Disembark in Miami

    After breakfast, you’ll disembark in the Port of Miami. We include your return transfer to Miami Airport for your free homeward flight. Meals B

    Our people-to-people Cuba voyages are individually programmed and are in compliance with U.S. Government regulations. Many of the places we visit and the cultural experiences we provide are not in standard touristic venues and are not always available. Thus, your final itinerary prior to departure will detail each day’s full program.

    Cruise length varies between 14, 15 and 16 days. Ports of call and the prices are the same. This 15 day itinerary operates on Feb 8 and Mar 24 (reverse).
