Historic Paris by Private Car: This half-day panoramic tour is the perfect introduction to the architectural beauty and vibrant street life of Paris. With your expert private guide, you’ll marvel at the city’s most iconic districts and landmarks—from the grandeur of the Champs-Élysées and the Eiffel Tower to the bohemian charm of the Left Bank. Drive along the Seine, cross the Île de la Cité, marvel at the obelisk at the heart of Place de la Concorde and take in the vibrancy of Saint-Germain-des-Prés and the Latin Quarter. Highlighting this tour is an inside visit to the magnificent Notre Dame Cathedral (except during masses, Friday and Saturday afternoon, and all day Sunday) where you’ll see first-hand the remarkable restoration efforts that followed the devastating 2019 fire, an inspiring testament to the city’s resilient spirit and enduring traditions of craftsmanship. Tour Duration: 4 Hours

Half-Day Montmartre with Roundtrip Transfers: With captivating views over Paris, Montmartre feels a world away from the bustle of modern Paris. This morning, your private guide will lead you through its winding cobbled streets, where the charm of La Belle Époque still lingers. Once home to Benedictine nuns and later a magnet for artists and intellectuals, Montmartre became the heart of Parisian bohemia—its spirit immortalized by Renoir, Toulouse-Lautrec, and the lively cabarets of the 19th century. Behold the gleaming white domes of the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a stunning Neo-Byzantine landmark, and stroll through the lively Place du Tertre, where artists still set up easels in the square, capturing the romance and allure of Montmartre much as they did a century ago. Tour Duration 3 Hours

Evening Dinner Cruise on the Seine with Roundtrip Transfers: Experience the enchantment of Paris from a unique perspective aboard our beautifully appointed river cruiser. Traveling along the Seine with magical views of illuminated landmarks like Notre Dame, the Louvre, and Eiffel Tower, this 2.5-hour dinner cruise features a gourmet multi-course menu—from starter and entrée to a cheese course and petit fours to finish the meal on a sweet note. Champagne will be served with appetizer and dessert and musical entertainment will set the mood. It’s an unforgettable evening of fine dining and classic Parisian ambiance, perfect for a romantic night or special celebration. Tour Duration 4 Hours. Elegant attire required.

Wine + Cheese Tasting in a Parisian Cellar: If the world of French wines and cheeses feels a bit intimidating, this relaxed and friendly tasting is the perfect introduction. Gathered around a table with a knowledgeable host, you'll enjoy six carefully selected tastings showcasing the diversity of French wine: one Champagne, two white wines, and three red wines from renowned wine-producing regions across the country. Each tasting is thoughtfully paired with an artisan cheese, creating a delicious introduction to the traditions and flavors that make French wine and cheese so celebrated. It's not a formal masterclass, but rather a relaxed and engaging experience designed to spark your curiosity, answer your questions, and leave you feeling more confident and inspired to explore French wine and cheese throughout your travels—and back home! Tour Duration 2.5 Hours

Meals B

This day is entirely yours to relax, explore, and savor more of Nice and the Riviera at your own pace. Sleep in, return to a favorite café or bistro you recently discovered, or simply find a quiet spot along the Promenade des Anglais and let the rhythm of the Mediterranean work its magic. There's always another side street to wander in Vieux-Nice, another market stall to linger over at the Cours Saleya, or another viewpoint to discover for the very first time. But of course, on the French Riviera, a sun-drenched afternoon doing very little at all is a perfectly valid plan.

If you prefer guided sightseeing, we offer a rich variety of privately guided excursions that you can add to enhance your stay along the Riviera. Venture beyond Nice to the gilded glamour of Monaco and the medieval hilltop village of Èze, explore the elegance of Cannes and the tranquil island monastery of Saint-Honorat, join a local chef for a market visit and hands-on Provençal cooking class, or delight in a sunset catamaran cruise along the coast.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic journey through the beguiling landscapes of Provence as you travel with your car and driver to Aix-en-Provence, one of southern France's most refined and captivating cities.  With your private guide, you’ll discover the charm of its historic center: a delightful ensemble of honey-colored buildings and shaded squares that have inspired artists and writers for centuries. Stroll along the iconic Cours Mirabeau, the city's grand tree-lined boulevard, famed for its handsome 17th-century mansions, picturesque fountains, lively cafés, and boutiques.

Along the way, your guide will share stories of Aix's remarkable history and artistic heritage, from its Roman foundations to its most famous son, the Post-Impressionist painter Paul Cézanne. You'll also have time to linger over lunch at one of the city's many inviting restaurants before continuing through the rolling vineyards and lavender-scented countryside of Provence.

Awaiting you at journey's end is Avignon, the storied City of the Popes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose medieval ramparts, magnificent Papal Palace, and vibrant cultural scene make it one of the most compelling cities in all of southern France. On arrival, check in to your chosen hotel where the rest of your afternoon and evening are free to enjoy, relax, and dine as you wish.  Meals B

Avignon and its surrounding Provençal countryside offer a wealth of ways to spend a rewarding day. Whether you're drawn to medieval history and papal intrigue or the legendary vineyards of the Rhône Valley, choose one of these included excursions and let your private guide bring it all to life.

Avignon Walking Tour: Few cities in France wear their history quite so visibly as Avignon. Once the seat of the Catholic Church during the 14th century, when seven successive popes ruled Christendom from this walled city on the Rhône, Avignon retains an almost mythical grandeur. With your private guide, you’ll tour the magnificent Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic palace in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wander along the city’s charming narrow streets, discover picturesque squares, and see the famous Pont d'Avignon, immortalized in the French nursery rhyme that virtually every French child grows up singing. Along the way, your guide will weave together the stories of papal power, medieval daily life, and the enduring Provençal traditions that give this remarkable city its distinctive character.  Tour Duration: 3 Hours

Afternoon Wine Tour—Châteauneuf-du-Pape: Just north of Avignon lies one of France's most celebrated and storied wine appellations. The vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, whose very name recalls the medieval popes who cultivated vines here in the 14th century, produce some of the Rhône Valley's most complex and age-worthy wines. The landscape itself is unlike any other wine region in France: its ancient soils are blanketed in distinctive large, rounded stones called galets roulés that soak up the Provençal sun by day, releasing their warmth to the cool night air—creating the ideal microclimate for grapes to develop the rich, concentrated flavors that you'll taste in every glass. With insight from your private guide, you’ll travel through this evocative countryside before visiting two carefully selected vineyard estates. Enjoy tastings of fine Côtes du Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines as your hosts share the traditions and passion that go into every bottle.  Tour Duration: 5 Hours

This day is entirely yours to enjoy Avignon at your own pace. Wander through medieval lanes you have yet to explore, linger over a long lunch in one of the sun-warmed squares, or simply sit with a glass of Rhône wine and watch the world go by: there are few more pleasant places to do so than this historic walled city.

If you prefer exploring farther afield, we offer a variety of excursions into the surrounding Provençal countryside that you can book to enhance your sojourn here. Step back into Roman times in Nîmes or Arles, two of southern France's most remarkably preserved ancient cities, or lose yourself in the timeless beauty of the Luberon, with its legendary hilltop villages, lavender fields, and rolling vineyards. For something truly memorable, an exclusive after-hours visit to the spectacular Carrières de Lumières offers an immersive art experience unlike anything else in the region. Or stay closer to home with a hands-on Provençal cooking class in the heart of Avignon's own historic market.
