From the vibrant seaside district of Miraflores to historic Plaza Mayor and famed Larco Museum, your guided tour of Lima’s contrasting old and new facets is capped off in Barranco, where historic buildings are home to thriving galleries. Enjoy the chef's 3-course tasting menu with wine at Amaz, a Une Peruvian restaurant.  Meals B+D

Fly to Puerto Maldonado and journey up the Madre de Dios River. Tailor your 3-night stay at the acclaimed Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica Lodge with a choice of included excursions. For your first afternoon, a guided nature walk would be an ideal introduction to the unique rainforest environment.  Meals B+L+D

Our lodge offers more than a dozen naturalist-guided excursions designed for different interests and abilities. Over the next two days, you can join the ones that best fit your style. From forest trails to ox-bow lakes, there are many ways to observe and learn about the Amazon’s eco-systems and its colorful birds and wildlife. Your adventures can take you over land and water – or even high into the forest canopy. Twilight tours are an exciting way to encounter nocturnal species.  Meals B+L+D

Our award-winning eco-lodge is set on 42,000 private acres adjacent to the lush Tambopata National Reserve – an extraordinary setting to experience the beauty and natural wonders of the Peruvian Amazon. Today offers another opportunity to tailor your exploration, fun and learning with the included naturalist-guided expeditions of your choice. Maybe yesterday you joined one of our expert naturalists along forest trails to observe and learn about the indigenous flora and fauna, or perhaps you explored the wetlands along the elevated boardwalks that wind their way over the rainforest swamps. Then today might be a good time for a canoe safari down Gamitana Creek, home to piranha, caimans, turtles and an abundance of brightly colored birds. You might also venture along Inkaterra’s canopy walkway high in the treetops or take a cruise on Lake Sandoval for a chance to espy giant river otters, red howler monkeys and hoatzins.    Meals B+L+D

[Please note that trail, water and weather conditions can affect which expeditions will be offered during your stay at Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.]
