    From the vibrant seaside district of Miraflores to historic Plaza Mayor and famed Larco Herrera Museum, your guided exploration of Lima’s richly contrasting old and new facets is capped off in Barranco, where historic buildings are now home to thriving galleries.   • Day 3 - Into the Sacred Valley of the Inca c

    Fly to Cuzco and join Ana Maria, our Andean-born Trip Leader. Visit the Cochahuasi Animal Sanctuary in the Sacred Valley. At Awanacancha, see llamas & alpacas and learn about ancient weaving techniques. Explore Pisac’s colorful Indian market and check in to the Aranwa Sacred Valley Resort. meals b+l
  • Day 4 - Explore the Sacred Valley

    Tour the spectacular hilltop fortress of Ollantaytambo with Ana Maria and stop by a chicheria to learn about chicha, an Andean beverage distilled from corn.     A two-day visit to the Lost City of the Inca begins with a rail journey through the scenic Sacred Valley.   • Day 6 - Morning at Machu Picchu and back to Cuzco by train

Continue to the remote village of Cuyuni where you’ll mingle and stroll with residents. They’ll take you through their village and fields, teaching you about traditions and a way of life that has changed little over the centuries.
