I was really surprised by the about how much English that was spoken. The Jordanians that we met were friendly and helpful. We had excellent guides. I was never worried about security. Jordan is rich with history and historical landmarks. If you go, read a little about the country and also there are plenty of YouTube videos. I really enjoyed the food and the time spent eating and talking with families on three occasions. The visit in Petra and the desert camping experience were the highlights for me.
