Outside of town, visit Montmorency Falls and ride the cable car to take in the views over the countryside. • Day 8 - Cruising the St. Lawrence River into Lake Ontario

Unlike larger cruise ships that don’t sail beyond Montreal, the intimate Victory II continues its voyage today up the St. Lawrence. As we near Lake Ontario, you’ll want to be on-deck in one of the inviting outdoor lounges or near a picture window as our vessel navigates the 1,000 Islands, a picturesque archipelago of more than 1,800 islands and islets. These waters were once patrolled by pirates and Prohibition-era bootleggers, but today it’s just a peaceful haven between northern New York and southern Ontario. Densely forested shorelines, historic lighthouses, tranquil bays and remote cottage hideaways make this one of the most enchanting places in North America. By evening, we’ll be sailing across the waters of Lake Ontario toward Niagara Falls.

Travel through the lovely vineyard-laced landscapes of the Niagara Peninsula, and embark a thrilling Hornblower Cruise that will take you through the Great Niagara Gorge and past Bridal Veil Falls into the very heart of Horseshoe Falls! Enjoy a wine-tasting and lunch on a local vineyard estate, and then explore the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake. Return to ship with time to refresh before you sit down to another congenial dinner onboard.

Pei, you’ll discover more than a museum of rock and roll memorabilia.
