My daughter and I very much enjoyed our trip. Every day was great and seemed to exceed the previous one. The tour was the perfect length, not a slow or boring moment. Qoroqwe was magnificent; I’m not sure why A&R isn’t booking this camp in 2026. The guides and staff were outstanding. We saw everything except the rhino, but apparently they have been gone for years despite the advertisement claims. Victoria Falls was a nice hotel stay in the middle, though spraying for mosquitoes was still necessary. A&R was able to help fulfill our dream of swimming in the Devil’s Pool (for a separate charge). Davison’s Camp was a different type of safari experience; we got to see lots of animal interactions around the watering holes, plus hippos! The guides and staff were stellar and the food was the best on the tour. However, the accommodations were rustic, especially if you are in a twin bed arrangement (toilet, shower and beds in a one room tent). Only one of our four bush plane trips was rough.

We did this as a private tour for my husband and myself. We got excellent service and care from arrival through airport transfers to safari game drives and departure. We had a direct contact at Alexander and Roberts who was based in South Africa, whom we could message with on Whatsapp from start to end of our trip. She would send us reminders and updates throughout the trip, so we always knew what was going on. The bush camps in the Okavango Delta and Hwange, and the hotel in Victoria, were all luxurious and yet well integrated with the wilderness and environmentally conscious. Our safari guides and drivers were very warm and friendly, and on a private tour like this you really form a bond with the people taking care of you. Wildlife was abundant - expect lots of elephants in this part of Africa! Also, southern Africa is beautiful, with a distinct terrain from say, Kenya and Tanzania. We also did the add-on trip to Sabi Sands Game Reserve, attached to Kruger National Park. Sabi Sabi Bush Lodge is one of the most beautiful and upscale lodges we've ever stayed at. It was a wonderful experience, and we got to see the Big Five in Sabi Sands alone. This trip, and doing it on a private tour, is worth every penny and more.

My husband and I recently returned from Wild Wonderful Southern Africa Botswana Victoria Falls Zimbabwe. It was magnificent. We would definitely return to the Qorokwe Camp in the Okavango Delta and the Davison’s Camp in Hwange National Park. In both places the camps, service, meals were superb. Our guides, Jacob and Edwin were excellent. Wildlife sightings were amazing. We did not want to leave either camp. We did enjoy our extension to Sabi Sands Private Reserve at Kruger however our stay in Botswana and Zimbabwe were unparalleled. We felt one with nature. The peace, the calm, the animals, the beauty and the people will stay with us forever.
