Chris from CA gives this tour
The only thing that really delighted me about the trip was seeing the Taj Mahal. The hotels were all lovely especially the Trident in Agra and Japour, and the Hyatt in Kathmandu. I don't think that I was really prepared for the wide spread poverty and dirty conditions and horrible over crowding, and the huge numbers of wandering animals. Our guide for India was ok, not great, and the guide in Nepal never stopped talking long after he had lost his audience. Too much information is useless especially on such hot days. Tour members were easy to be with and I'm glad I went. Your tour arrangements all worked out well. The 2 bike tuk-tuk rides were not very comfortable, especially for me as I had to ride with the only other single person who happened to be a man who I was not comfortable with. I did ask for my own driver but was refused. Especially the ride back from the Ganges. In the dark the driver went some random way to avoid the congestion, I guess, and it was scary. Sadly, it took 38 hrs. to get back to LA from Nepal, and I got sick on the way home thanks to the cold that was given to me by one of the tour members.
I would travel with your company again, but not to India. Once was enough. The bus drivers were all great.
