Our tour guides were exceptional - especially Elena in Saint Petersburg. The early entry into the Hermitage and The Peterhof demonstrated the beauty of an A+R small group tour - we were literally the first ones into the Hermitage and were able to see everything up close and personal which coupled with Elena's expert dialog made for a truly memorable experience. The tour of the Faberge Museum over the lunch hour with minimal crowding was also incredible.

Siege Museum in St. Petersburg was very moving. Enjoyed traditional Russian restaurant in St. Petersburg. Behind the scene Amber lecture was very interesting.

Every aspect of the trip was delightful. Our flight from San Francisco was delayed and we missed our connection to Moscow. We informed the travel agency in Moscow from Paris and they were very helpful. They made arrangements to pick us up in the middle of the night. We saw everything on the Itinerary. The guide in Moscow was well educated about Russia and we learnt a lot from her. The guide in St. Petersburg lacked interpersonal skills but made up by navigating all the crowded sightseeing spots in a very efficient manner. The hotels in both places were very good. Overall a very good experience.
