This was the fifth trip we have taken with Alexander & Roberts, so we clearly like your itineraries and organization and this trip was no exception. Our guide Elisa and driver Andreas were outstanding. If I asked Elisa a question and she didn’t know the answer (which was a rare occurrence), she would look it up overnight and come back the next day with the answer. The local travel guides were also exceptional, well-informed, friendly and excellent English-speakers. We both like archeology and came to see the Greek, Roman, Norman and Byzantine sites and were not disappointed. They were spectacular. We are wine geeks so the excursions to wineries were also a highlight. We weren’t sure how we would like our excursion to Corleone but it proved to be interesting and worthwhile. We also were uncertain about the cooking lesson, but that also turned out to be fun, delicious and a pleasant surprise.
