The outstanding tour guide, Dr. Panagiota Pantou, whose knowledge of Greek archeology and mythology made an outstanding trip a delightful learning g experience! Also, the unique experiences of a private concert in Athens, and a local luncheon served by pleasant ladies in a Pelion village!

Our outstanding tour guide, Panagiota Pantou, PHD., made an outstanding venue of Greece a unique and amazing learning experience! Her archeological background and knowledge of mythology and history enhanced each city, town, and island we visited. The private concert in Athens, extensive tour of the Parthenon and its museum , amazing tour of archeological digs, and delightful traditional meal in the Pelion mountains were just a few of the many delights of this wonderful Greece experience!

I fell in love with Greece and its wonderful people and culture. Our group consisted of eleven adults who were like family by the time we were finished. The trip was well thought out. We visited the big places like the Acropolis and Delphi but the real gems were the small towns and the islands of Skiathos and Skopelos. To make it even more rewarding and special we had the best tour guide ever, Panagioto Pantou. She is a Greek archaeologist who actually worked on excavating some of the sites we visited. She was professional, kind, fun, knowledgeable, and had a way of explaining things in story form. The trip was great but she made it perfect!

Our tour guide, Dr. Yota Pantou, is passionate about Greek archaeology, history and culture. Her own professional experience in archaeological research in Greece provides additional insight. She is not only knowledgeable but also enthusiastically sharing her knowledge about Greek history and culture with us. I personally learned a lot from her. To better understand and appreciate the Greek history and culture is one of my highlights of this trip. This tour covers two broad categories - 1) tourist attractive areas, such as, Athens Acropolis, Delphi, Meteora, 3 of the Sporades islands, etc. that every tourists would want to see, and 2) less touristy area such as Volos and the Pelion Peninsula to allow us to experience and appreciate what local life is like. Greece is a friendly and beautiful country. I would definitely consider to go back again.
