We would have appreciated more info on tipping in the various cities and countries. For example, in the US we have become accustomed to tipping the maids in the hotels--is this common at all in Europe? What about the baggage handlers to bring luggage to the room? What about the concierge or reception people who help with miscellaneous matters? You did provide tipping instructions for the city tour guides and drivers--but it was for other staff members one encounters that we were unsure of. Other than the horrendous experience in Austria, my sister and I were EXCEPTIONALLY pleased with ALL the guides in ALL the cities; we learned a tremendous amount; the hotels & staff (with one exception) were fabulous; and all modes of transport worked well. IT was an incredible vacation and I would be wiling to try General Tours again; I would just hope that if a general European holiday happens, such as a religious one that would "shut down" a city, etc., I would be told in advance. As General Tours have been in business for a long time, I can only assume you know this information in advance. Your customers would like to know.
