The hotels were outstanding. The drivers and guides were excellent, providing great background to what we saw, answering all of our questions, and providing the necessary aid when we made a couple of missteps. Our communication with Melanie Delworth before the trip was very positive. The entire trip more than met our expectations.

The guides were all wonderful: they were enthusiastic about their locales, communicated with us very well, and took a great deal of care to ensure that we saw and experienced what we wanted to and that we enjoyed our stay. They were also very helpful about getting us checked in at airports/ferry terminals and making sure we knew what to do at each stage of our tour. Iguassu Falls was an unforgettable sight--a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We also thoroughly enjoyed every other stop on this tour, and we appreciated A+R's willingness to arrange an extension to Uruguay even though the regular tour packages don't include this: Colonia del Sacramento was fascinating for its history, and Montevideo and Punta del Este charmed us with their beauty.

Great personal service and knowledge of the guides in Buenos Aires and Rio - they were as good as it gets when it comes to guides. The itinerary was excellent and the activities and sights taken to were the best. Also the lunch at the Brazilian Steak House was so good we went back the next day.

Perfectly planned and executed with exceptional guides and drivers who were well-versed, friendly, and knowledgeable about their countries, the sites and most importantly, first class handling of visitors. As always with A & R, the accommodations are superb! Our last day in Rio with our wonderful guide Bruno took us everywhere we had ever dreamed of in Rio: Corcovado, Sugarloaf, the amazing Metropolitan Cathedral, as well as a complete overview of this beautiful geographic site. Iguassu Falls does not disappoint, and having two days to thoroughly enjoy and "cover" them was ideal! We love A & R!!
