Jacqueline from NJ gives this tour
I loved Cartagena and the knowledge & enthusiasm of our guide Daniel. Although the Charleston Santa Teresa Hotel was the original choice by A&R I very much liked the location next to the city wall and took advantage of the location by walking around. We passed the other hotel and I like the Charleston Santa Teresa hotel location much better. I enjoyed to Real Food tour as well as seeing both the historic center and the more residential areas of the city. Our guide was friendly & knowledgeable. I also enjoyed Medellin and the tour of District 13. .Gustav was very good & personable. Bogota was a BIG disappointment. The guide was not very personable. As two septuagenarians we didn't need to participate in Tejo, the national game of Colombia. Also there was no need to spend almost an entire morning in a Farmers' Market/Flower Market. We have those in the states. I would have much rather seen the salt cathedral. While Monserrate was nice at night, It could have been done during the day and included lunch instead of dinner
