This was an extraordinary trip with a lot of moving parts which allowed multiple opportunities for potential problems. However, A&R did a remarkable job in making our experience both flawless and memorable. The guides were exceptional, especially Breytzi, and there were so many unique experiences and special touches - like being blessed by a Shaman and even the wonderful picnic on our way back from Rainbow Mountain. Also, getting to spend two days at Machu Picchu allowed us to fully explore it, along with our extremely knowledgeable guide that we had there. The Amazon experience was wonderful - the lodge was great and the naturalists were outstanding. This trip involved several flights and the logistics for all that was top notch, plus we always had someone walk us into the airport and help us with check in. There was always someone to greet us at the airports when we landed. All this attention to detail made the trip run so smoothly. This is our second trip with Alexander & Roberts (our last one was to Romania) and I would highly recommend them.
