Everything delighted us with this trip!! The smoothness of this trip which included the itinerary made this trip stress free! Loved the Itinerary, which was given to each of us mapping out each and every day. The majority of the hotels were 5 star in every aspect! The itinerary was exactly what was discussed. Our driver was exceptional and put us at ease every single day!

Everything on this trip was a delight! The itinerary was excellent- we saw 4 different parts of the country and each was so enjoyable and such a different experience. The places we stayed were comfortable and well located, the guides were excellent, and the transportation was comfortable and very easy. I particularly loved this trip as it all focused on nature- beautiful walks/hikes, we learned a lot from our knowledgeable guides, and saw a lot of different birds. We saw and did a lot and yet never felt rushed or too busy. We had excellent food. There was so much to see that I felt like ai could go to Costa Rica again!

Our 10-day private trip to Costa Rica was outstanding in every respect. All of the accommodation and travel arrangements by Alexander Roberts were flawless. The Grano de Oro hotel in San Jose was delightful and the gourmet dining was a special delight. Our first national park was Tortuguero where we enjoyed boat cruises on the canals seeing monkeys, crocodiles, and numerous exotic birds. The Manatus hotel was fantastic. It is set in nature and the area has no motor vehicles, so it was peaceful and idyllic. Our next destination was Arenal where we enjoyed the thermal streams at Tabacon Resort. We enjoyed yet more wildlife at the Hanging Bridges. We then went to Monteverde and did some hiking near the fabulous Koora Hotel and again in the cloud forest. A special treat was seeing the elusive Resplendent Quetzal bird! Our final destination was Manuel Antonio near Quepos where we saw many more monkeys, birds, and even boa constrictors in the mangroves. It was a thoroughly enjoyable trip thanks to the excellent arrangements by Alexander Roberts.
