The entire trip was amazing. From the phone and email assistance on our first phone call to the details including the wonderful guides in each of the areas we visited. The knowledge base of the guides was truly impressive and the little details they gave and the personal touch was truly wonderful. The hotels in each city were beautiful and well appointed, and very near to many of the attractions. They were culturally diverse and appropriate for the surrounding area. So beautiful we couldn't pick our favorite! Transportation (planes, trains & automobiles), entrance tickets, boarding passes and pickup and drop off were all inclusive and worry free as the exceptional guides took care of every detail all the way down to the personal attention given to airport pickup, transfers and departure. Most days were full of adventure and sightseeing but with plenty of leisure time to explore on your own. Machu Picchu, the highlight, was as extraordinary as we thought it would be. The grandeur of this place was truly AWESOME. Having the extra day at MP was so worthwhile and needed. You definitely need an extra day to take in and explore this amazing and beautiful place. The immersive experiences were also an added highlight. A& R did a fabulous job giving the real-life picture of the people and their daily routines. The immersive experience going to Oropressa and Cuyuni was wonderful to meet the people there and understand a different culture was truly special. we could not have asked for a better company and trip to Peru!!

I was very pleased. The trip was very well organized. Our guide Ana Maria was very professional and made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. I liked that she handled our tickets and would pass them out to us as we needed them so we didn't misplace or 'forget" them (flights, bus, train, entrances to the historical sites). She did a great job keeping the group moving at a nice pace. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The restaurants provided us with local cuisine which is always a fun option.

The tour guides were just amazing. They pay attention to every detail. They are constantly in touch with the home office who keeps them informed on everything for the next step of your trip, road conditions, restaurant availability, hotel ready for check in, etc. They are not texting, they are constantly working! You don't have to worry about a thing. They move your luggage, help with airport check in and pickups, get your luggage into the hotel. The private van was modern, clean and safe. A very safe and expert driver. The guides are truly experts. They know the history on EVERYTHING... people, buildings, art, plants, history. There is no question they could not answer. We had 4 separate guides... everyone of them experts, fun and knowledgeable. Every accommodation was 5-star. It was a trip of a life time. I still can't stop smiling. I am so grateful we chose this company for our tour.

Loved Everything! The tour guides were pleasant and responsive to requests (i.e., for area maps and suggestions for further reading/research). They were prompt and reliable. They anticipated my needs. The food, the accommodations, the transportation, the explanations...everything was better than I could have hoped! I especially liked that A & R personnel in Peru helped us print boarding passes and helped us get to our airline connections.
