The wildlife we saw was much more than we expected and much more than we saw in Costa Rica. We saw howler monkeys in numerous settings, countless beautiful birds and a sloth up close twice. The Granada Islands were truly magical. Jicaro Island was an excellent experience . It was very encouraging to see how tourism is helping develop the young people and quality of life in Nicaragua.
