I loved the ship Historia - the cabin, the food. I now understand how important it is that the ship had its own docking facilities! It was lovely to cruise slowly along watching life along the banks of the Nile. We felt that the Great Pyramid stop was the least interesting because it was so busy and noisy. Seeing the earlier pyramids, all alone in the desert, were more inspiring. We also loved the grand temples in Luxor, and Abu Simbel. In Jordan we were delighted to have Nader as our guide - so intelligent, enthusiastic and flexible. Of course, traveling down the Siq at Petra was a highlight. Overall we felt that the organizational staff was super - always thinking ahead, and saving us time and worry. We highly recommend this tour and the extension.
