Having the opportunity to see the incredible Northern Lights, see hundreds of Beluga Whales and also observe 14 Polar Bears (including 6 Polar bear Cubs) in their natural habitat is a privilege. The Lazy Bear Lodge was like staying at one the rustic lodges in America's National Parks. The food was plentiful and very good. Our lead guide Deacon had a wonderful sense of humor, eyesight like that of an eagle and exceptional positive people skills. It was truly an amazing adventure.

Canada delighted me. We were welcomed with open arms in Winnipeg and in Churchill by our northern neighbors. We saw polar bears and viewed their summer behavior and beluga whales by the hundreds. Our chance to interact with a Metis dog musher to learn about the culture was a highlight. The tundra tour and the boat excursions allowed us to truly view these majestic animals in their natural habitat. As a bonus, the Northern Lights even appeared! Our guides were both knowledgeable and enthusiastic adding to our experience and spirit of adventure. Accommodations were top notch. The Lazy Bear Lodge is cozy and warm and inviting. The Inn at the Forks is ideally situated. Food is exceptional at both places and the staff go out of their way to assist the guests as much as possible.
