DAY 4 | Onward to Monteverde
Explore the rainforest along a network of hanging bridges that range in elevation from just 5 feet above the ground to more than 145 feet high over the forest floor. It’s a fun and exciting way to observe and learn about the diversity of this tropical eco-system. Continue to the idyllic Koora Hotel and settle in to your private bungalow with captivating views of Monteverde’s cool cloud forests. meals b+l+d
DAY 5 | Exploring a Cloud Forest This morning’s guided walk reveals the
amazing biodiversity of the cloud forest, including 2,000 plant species, 400 different types of birds and more than 1,000 species of reptiles and amphibians. After lunch, visit the Monteverde Orchid Garden. This evening, you’ll meet one of the area’s original Quaker settlers who came to the region in the 1950’s. Engaging conversation in their home offers unique insight into one of Costa Rica’s most colorful chapters of history. meals b+l+d

DAY 7 | Manuel Antonio National Park This morning’s guided discovery deep in
Costa Rica’s finest national park offers a chance to see native species including sloths, iguanas, the rare squirrel monkey, diminutive red land crabs, and numerous tropical birds. In the afternoon, you’ll set out with our expert naturalist by boat to explore the pristine estuaries and lush mangroves that surround Damas Island. Colorful birds, white-faced monkeys and a variety of amphibians and reptiles inhabit this pristine sanctuary. Tonight you’ll dine at Cafe Milagro. meals b+l+d
DAY 8 | Depart San Jose

a working coffee plantation where you will learn about and see firsthand the sustainable processes that bring their fine beans to your morning cup. Then continue to the Arenal Kioro Hotel where your spacious balcony suite offers a volcano view. DAY 3 | Canopy Tour + Cooking Class This morning’s Sky Tram adventure through
