Resurrection Bay
DAY 7 | To Mt. Alyeska
Travel into the Matanuska-Susitna Valley and
discover a land of pure Alaska wilderness!
On our private visit to a Musk Ox Farm, you’ll get up close to these Ice Age mammals and learn about their work to preserve this once- endangered animal. After lunch featuring the valley’s farm-to-table bounty, tour the Alaska Native Heritage Center with a Native Alaskan. Continue on the Seward Highway to Girdwood and check in to the Hotel Alyeska surrounded by forests and mountains. meals b+l
DAY 8 | Kenai Fjords Marine Expedition Look for bald eagles and other wildlife on
our journey across the Chugach Mountains. In Seward, embark an afternoon cruise
into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park – home to calving glaciers and marine life like stellar sea lions, harbor seals, Dall porpoises, and a variety of whales – Humpback, Orca and Minke. Enjoy this evening’s farewell dinner and another restful night at the Hotel Alyeska. meals b+l+d
DAY 9 | Depart Anchorage
After breakfast, our private luxury vehicle will take you to the Anchorage Airport. meals b

DAY 1 | Welcome to Alaska
On arrival, our private vehicle takes you to the

DAY 5 | By rail to Talkeetna
Today’s return journey on the Park Road
offers more chances to spot Denali’s Big Five. You’ll even make a stop to see Wonder Lake, captured by Ansel Adams in his iconic shots of Mt. Denali. Then reboard the Alaska Railroad, again with seats in the upper level glass-dome car. Enjoy lunch and take in the views as you cross Hurricane Gulch on a 914-foot long bridge. Arrive Talkeetna and check in to the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge. meals b+l
DAY 6 | Choose an adventure
Tailor the morning to your taste for adventure with one of our included expeditions: An exciting Jet Boat Ride on the scenic Susitna River or our Zipline Adventure through the forest. Enjoy a free afternoon or an optional Flightseeing Tour around Denali’s 20,000-foot peak, weather permitting. meals b+l

Tour the city and see the Trans-Alaska Pipeline up close. On a farm in the Goldstream Valley, join the owner and their reindeer to explore the boreal forest and then tour the Museum of the North. Enjoy a private talk at the Morris Thompson Cultural Center followed by our Taste of Alaska dinner. meals b+d
DAY 3 | Deluxe dome rail into Denali Board the Alaska Railroad and relax with
360˚views through the glass dome. Vistas
of the Nenana Gorge signal our approach to Denali. Step off at midday and embark the 92-mile drive that takes you to the end of the Park Road. Keep your eyes sharp for sightings of Denali’s Big Five – bear, moose, caribou, wolves and Dall sheep. Deep in the wilderness of Denali National Park, you’ll check in to
the inviting Kantishna Roadhouse. Tonight, our Lodge’s guides will help you to plan your activities for tomorrow. meals b+l+d
