DAY 6 | Get to know Sarajevo
The Sarajevo Freedom Tunnel Museum offers a sobering yet inspiring look into the Siege of Sarajevo and the vital role that the tunnel played in supplying food and arms during the 3-year siege. You will also visit the 15th-century Emperor’s Mosque and the Latin Bridge where Archduke Ferdinand was assassinated in 1914. meals b+d
DAY 7 | Into Durmitor National Park Our jeep expedition into Durmitor National Park   reveals its glacier-formed landscape of canyons, rivers, dense forests – and 48 peaks which soar at least 6,500 feet. Thrill to breathtaking views of the Tara Canyon, deepest in Europe, and continue to the Four Points by Sheraton in Kolasin. meals b+l+d
DAY 8 | Into the Montenegrin Highlands From lovely Biogradsko Lake, embark on a jeep adventure into the Highlands – with vistas of the virgin forests that cradle the lake. Here in this pristine setting, meet with farmers who live simply in their cottages, making crafts and tending sheep. DAY 9 | Through the Moraca Canyon
A scenic drive brings you to the 13th-century
Moraca Monastery, known for its fine frescoes. Then visit the National Museum in Cetinje. Sampling local artisanal specialties like prosciutto and cheese with an innkeeper makes for a congenial light lunch. Continue to the Regent Porto Montenegro. meals b+l+d
DAY10 | Kotor+LušticaPeninsula
A walking tour in nearby Kotor   includes
the Cathedral of St. Tryphon and the massive medieval ramparts of this 13th-century
town – set on the edge of the only fjord in southern Europe. On the lovely Luštica Peninsula, you’ll tour an olive estate and learn about the region’s enduring agrarian traditions. DAY11 | BayofKotortoDubrovnik Cruise across the bay to visit Our Lady of the Rocks, a small island home to a fine Baroque church. Enjoy lunch in the seaside town of Perast.
