After lunch, your private sightseeing tour begins at the Choijin Lama Temple Museum, built more than a century ago. Transfer to the airport this morning for your included flight into the Gobi Desert. Although this is widely regarded as one of the harshest environments on the planet, the Gobi is surprisingly rich in geological and wildlife diversity. Its vast landscapes are home to numerous animals including gazelles, antelopes, wild camels, ibex wild sheep and the endangered Gobi bear. Upon arrival, your private sightseeing takes you first into the spectacular landscapes of Yol Valley National Park. Enjoy a refreshing morning hike with your guide and pause to take in the stunning sight of the Gobi Glacier. With luck and sharp eyes, this is also a great opportunity to espy some of the Gobi’s amazing creatures. Then meet with camel breeders at their camp for a fascinating look into their Nomadic traditions and way of life. Follow in the footsteps of Roy Chapman Andrews, fondly known as “the Real Indiana Jones.”  He was an early 20th-century explorer and adventurer who became a renowned director of the American Museum of Natural History. It was here in Bayan Zag, also known as the Flaming Cliffs, where Mr. Andrews found the first-known nest of fossilized dinosaur eggs.
