Discover the history and charm of Venice as you tour the city in the company of our expert guide. Admire the handsome arcades which border St. Mark’s Square and the ornate cupolas of the Basilica. Nearby is the Doge’s Palace, a Gothic and Renaissance fantasy of white and pink marble, and the famous Bridge of Sighs. This evening, enjoy a serenaded Gondola cruise. Meals B

Enjoy a morning transfer by water taxi to the rail station and a scenic journey with your guide on the high-speed Eurostar train to Florence. Upon arrival, meet your Florentine guide, an impassioned lifelong resident, and delve into the rich artistic legacy of the Medicis at the esteemed Galleria dell’Accademia, home to Michelangelo’s David. Rome to Sorrento

We’ve included your first class rail ticket for the scenic journey from Rome’s grand railway station to Naples. Upon arrival, our friendly and knowledgeable guide is waiting take you on a fascinating tour of Pompeii c. Destroyed by the cataclysmic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79, this petrified city is the largest and perhaps most famous archaeological excavation in the world. Continue to Sorrento, a lovely resort town overlooking the Bay of Naples and Mt. Vesuvius, and check in to the deluxe Hilton Sorrento Palace. (Meals B)
