Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your personal English speaking escort and transferred into the heart of Venice by private water taxi. Check in to your choice of hotel and enjoy the rest of this day and evening at leisure.

After breakfast, your in-the-know resident guide will be waiting to lead you on a private walking tour of Venice’s beloved landmarks. Stand in the celebrated Piazza San Marco and admire the imposing silhouette and façade of St. Mark’s Basilica. Hear the sad tale behind the aptly named Bridge of Sighs and then whisk past the ticket line for priority access into the magnificent Doge’s Palace with its masterpieces by Titian, Tintoretto and other renowned Italian painters. Your tour of the Palace, one of Venice’s most important and historic landmarks, includes the infamous prisoners’ quarters that sit on the opposite side of a narrow canal traversed by the Bridge of Sighs. After your private walking tour, your afternoon and evening are at leisure to enjoy more of Venice at your pace. Meals B
