Welcome to Lake Titicaca

Set on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the vibrant town of Puno is the provincial capital. Upon arrival at the airport here, you’ll be warmly greeted and chauffeured to your chosen resort: The 5-star Libertador or the luxurious Titilaka. Both of our evocative properties offer unparalleled settings surrounded by the calm, sacred waters of Lake Titicaca.

Guests at Titilaka will enjoy all meals during their stay at the lodge - including dinner this evening.

Explore Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca is one of the highest lakes in the world and the largest in South America. Its beauty is breathtaking to behold and its sacred waters have been revered since pre-Inca times. Titicaca is perhaps best-known for its amazing floating islands, made of Totora reeds and home to small communities of the Uros people. Taquile is famed for ancient agricultural terraces that climb the island’s hillsides; its residents still speak the language of the Inca and weave beautiful textiles using techniques that have endured for centuries.

Our guests at the Libertador will set out across the lake’s waters with their own private guide to explore the beauty and culture of Titicaca – including the floating Uros Islands and Taquile. Travelers staying at Titilaka will join other lodge guests for an intimate, expertly guided tour of the Lake and its remote island communities.

Meals B+L (Guests at Titilaka will also enjoy dinner this evening).
