Our favorite parts of the trip were Angkor Wat and the other parts of the Angkor complex. It was absolutely stunning and our guide was marvelous. It was worth the whole trip. We also really enjoyed Hoi An and Luang Prabang, including the cooking lesson in Hoi An and the temples in Laos. Special thanks to our Vietnam guide, Thanh and our Cambodia guide Sokly, who were both great. Hotels were uniformly excellent (we'd loved to have spent more time enjoying them!). We loved the Hanoi food tour with our guide, Thanh.

We had an amazing time in SE Asia. As we couldn't decide which country to visit, we decided to do the Vietnam + Laos + Cambodia + Thailand. This ended up being perfect for us as while the countries are similar, they have the differences and we loved them. The food was great, the hotels were great, the sites were great, and our guides were amazing! We know a trip was a success if you come away wanting to go back . . . and we will.
