Delighted by the high quality accommodations; the small size of our group; and the effort made by company reps to take care of us during a political crisis. Our guide for Nazca Lines & Peru, Sheila Dulanto, was fantastic. Also liked the small ship, La Pinta, for the islands. Their staff and their food was great.

This was our first trip with Alexander + Roberts and our first trip to South America. We were extremely impressed with how seamless the vacation was between planes, trains, vans and buses. Our guides were with us every step of the way. Every guide was very knowledgeable in the area we toured at each stop. They were able to facilitate visits to museums, ruins, dinners, etc without any fuss. Everything we had imagined the trip would be was met and more. I won’t be traveling with any other tour company again!

Tour guides were superior. Nature guides in Galapagos superior as well. Food in Peru was outstanding and flavorful. Fireworks on your taste buds. Our escorts made it impossible to get lost. Accompanied us to all airports/transfers/hotel check ins. The Hotel Monasterio in Cusco was over the top exquisite, and the Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu allowed for entry into the park without the crowds in early AM and late afternoon.

Delighted that an Alexander and Roberts representative was there to meet us at every point. Except on the Galapagos leg. But even when we returned to Quito our guide was there to show us where we needed to go.
