It was the trip of a lifetime and I felt I was a part of ancient Egypt with each temple visit. Yassir was phenomenal and Raffi and Tarik super helpful and patient.

We were pampered and looked after during every moment of the trip. Our guides, Ahmed and Nermeen, were friendly and clearly experts in their field. They really helped us to understand both the ancient and modern cultures of Egypt. And of course, seeing all the tombs and monuments was life-changing. The ship, Historia, was pure luxury. The food, service, and entertainment were excellent. This was our second trip with Alexander & Roberts and it exceeded all our expectations. It was the trip of a lifetime!

The itinerary, internal transportation, concern for our health and safety, were evident throughout the journey. The ship Historia and gracious staff far exceeded our expectations. Our Egyptologist Ahmed was outstanding! His love, knowledge, and respect for Egypt’s amazing antiquities rubbed off of everyone in our small group. The gentleman named Tarek who handled our transfers in and out of Cairo made our entry and exit easy for us. We don’t know what we would have done without his help!

While initially wary about travel to Egypt at this time, we always felt safe and were warmly welcomed. Our Egyptologist guide was knowledgeable, presented in ways that were memorable and relevant to our tour and had a great sense of humor. He made sure that everyone had the opportunity to see the sights, get the photographs or buy the souvenir that was important to them. The food was fabulous and plentiful. The sights were amazing, from the soft opening of the GEM museum to the pyramids to the tomb paintings! We had not previously considered what it would be like to visit these sites in the dar, and Luxor at night was spectacular!
