Embark from Athens

You’ll be met upon arrival and escorted to the Zea Marina in Piraeus, the main cruise port for Athens, where the Mega Yacht Harmony V awaits. There will be plenty of time to settle in to your stateroom and to meet fellow passengers as your voyage begins southward along Cape Sounion to the island of Kea, off the coast of the Attica Peninsula. After dinner onboard, you can step ashore for a pleasant evening stroll through Korrisia to enjoy Kea’s tiny charming port at your own pace.  During the night, your yacht-style ship will set sail for Delos.  Meals D

Delos + Mykonos

After breakfast onboard, you can join a guided morning tour of the famed excavations at Delos c . Revered as one of the most sacred sites of antiquity, Delos was the mythological birthplace of Apollo. His sanctuary here attracted pilgrims from all over Greece and as a result, this diminutive island became one of the most prosperous trading ports in the Aegean. Today, your sightseeing will trace Delos’ growth from the 3rd millennium B.C. to the Byzantine era and will reveal an exceptionally extensive and rich archaeological site that stunningly evokes a once mighty and cosmopolitan Mediterranean port of the ancient world.

Return to ship for the short crossing to Mykonos, with a swim stop along the way as sea and weather conditions permit. Later this afternoon, the M/Y Harmony V will be docked in the modern port of Tourlos on the enchanting isle of Mykonos. The balance of this day and the entire evening are yours to experience the island’s ambience and cosmopolitan style at your own pace. The ship is docked here for the night, so you can enjoy a delightful leisurely dinner ashore at one of the island’s many outstanding restaurants. Meals B,L

Spectacular Santorini

After a wonderful morning of cruising, your ship will arrive in Santorini to anchor at Fira, the island’s main town. Dramatically situated along the cliff tops of an ancient volcanic caldera, the white washed walls and gleaming blue domes of Santorini’s main town are spectacular to behold! This afternoon’s shore excursion includes the principle archaeological sites of Santorini. The first traces of the island’s ancient settlements were discovered in the middle of the 19th century and since then, extensive excavations have continued – revealing a wealth of history and marvelous archaeological sites with magnificent views over the Aegean Sea. This excursion also includes some of the island’s most picturesque villages, giving passengers the opportunity to witness tranquil scenes of every day life away from the many visitors that flock to this world-famous island. Late in the day, the M/Y Harmony V begins its overnight voyage to Crete.  Meals B,D

The Isle of Crete

This morning you’ll arrive in the lively and historic port of Rethymnon. With its Venetian-era fortress impressively set on a hilltop and a picturesque harbor graced with old wood-balconied homes and Ottoman-style buildings, Crete’s third largest city is one of the most charming in the Aegean. You can explore this delightful town on your own our join today’s sightseeing excursion to Knossos, the ancient city associated in Greek  mythology with the reign of King Minos and the legendary slaying of the Minotaur by Theseus in the labyrinths below the palace of Knossos. Ashore on Kythira

As conditions permit, you’ll enjoy another stop this morning for a refreshing dip in the Aegean Sea! This afternoon, your ship arrives in Kythira. Compared to the places you’ve visited so far, this tiny island is an undiscovered gem… But with its picturesque landscapes, charming settlements and inviting beaches, Kythira is becoming a favorite among savvy visitors and now is the perfect time to discover its charms before it becomes even better known! The M/Y Harmony V will be anchored here overnight, so you’ll have the entire evening to explore Kythira’s charming main town of Chora at your own pace and to immerse yourself in its authentic Greek ambience.  Meals B,L

Monemvasia and Nafplion

This morning, you’ll have time to step ashore and explore Monemvasia at your own pace. Set between imposing rocky cliffs and the sea, this fortified medieval town features ancient cobblestone streets, remnants of Byzantine-era structures and splendidly restored old stone buildings that are now home to inviting restaurants and shops. Occupied over the centuries by Byzantines, Crusaders, Venetians and Ottomans, Monemvasia offers a glimpse into the civilizations and empires that have left their mark here in this corner of the Mediterranean. Set sail in the early afternoon with another refreshing swim stop as sea and weather conditions permit. This evening finds you in Nafplion, one of the most enchanting and romantic towns in the Eastern Peloponnese. The M/Y Harmony V will overnight here, giving you ample time to explore the town’s winding streets graced with handsome old neoclassical buildings and overhanging Venetian-style balconies covered with bougainvillea. Overlooking Nafplion, an old fortress crowns the hills above Old Town.  Meals B,L

Excursion to Mycenae c

This morning’s guided sightseeing excursion to Mycenae showcases one of the greatest cities of the Mycenaean civilization, which dominated the eastern Mediterranean world from the 15th century to the 12th century B.C. and played a vital role in the development of classical Greek culture. Mycenae is also forever linked to the Homeric epics as the city of King Agamemnon. In the early afternoon, your ship departs for the island of Hydra, a true gem with no motorized vehicles - just stone cobbled lanes, donkeys, beautiful landscapes and the sea! Alternatively, the M/Y Harmony V might call instead on Spetses – an equally enchanting island with horse-drawn carriages, narrow cobbled streets and grand homes. In either case, you’ll have time in the late afternoon and evening to enjoy ashore at your own pace.  Meals B,D

Disembark / Athens Sightseeing c

Your cruise ends this morning in the port of Piraeus where you’ll disembark after breakfast. Meet your friendly in-the-know guide and transfer to Athens for a city sightseeing tour including the Acropolis. Overnight at the first class Athens Gate Hotel.  Meals B
